RAILA ODINGA RESIGNS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE KENYA GENERAL ELECTION. WHY?
Kenya's opposition leader, Raila Odinga, has announced he will not participate in the general election scheduled for this 26th month.
Mr Odinga says he wants to make a new election as it was decided by the highest court.
The 26th election will be a repetition of the general election, after the high court in Kenya to dissolve the election results of 8th August this year.
Mr. Odinga says he has withdrawn to give the IEBC election commission enough time to make changes that will enable them to make the elections in a good way.
Initially the electoral commission had announced the current president Uhuru Kenyatta to be a winner.
It said that Mr. Kenyatta won the vote by 1.4 million votes.
