Persons with Disability, is recruiting youth who are willing to volunteer for 12 weeks. The project supports community development in Tanzania, whilst giving young people a unique opportunity to live and work together as volunteers. Volunteers will stay with host families. Food and other daily expenses will be covered.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST BE:
Tanzanian and between 18& 25 years of age;
Able to work well in a team & communicate well in English or Swahili;
Experienced in volunteering in community groups/clubs.
Able to act in theatre/drama /confident to perform in the community
Creative in acting and able to demonstrate
Strong leadership/advocacy abilities
High levels of self-awareness, motivation and organisation skills
Physically able to stand and move around for 4-6 hours each training day
