Barcelona don't need Messi in order to win. According to statistics, the Spanish giants won 13 out of 17 games without the Argentine.

Messi is, without a doubt, a synonym for Barca's goals and big performances. But that doesn't mean that the top club can't be without him. We just have to take a look at the statistics.

Since Luis Enrique is coaching the club, Leo Messi missed 16 matches. Barcelona won 13 out of these 16 games without their star, two games ended in a goalless draw and just one was a loss.

There is no "Messidependence" and the club is represented by more than just one player.
