Lionel Messi reportedly has three names he'd rather on the team sheet with his next season than Philippe Coutinho, who was linked to Barcelona heavily in the summer.

Spanish publication Diario Gol says the little maestro likes the look of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, a major transfer target for a number of clubs including Arsenal.

Messi is also apparently interested in playing with Lyon's Nabil Fekir, who was at the centre of dramas at St Etienne after he scored a second goal in the Rhone derby - his 12 goals in 15 games would turn the head of any scout.

Then there's Leicester's Riyad Mahrez, who seemed to want a move in the summer that never materialised.
